MAN ARRESTED AFTER WAVING FLAG at CONCERT — Arrested Again…

free speech zone-body2NEW JERSEY (MYFOXNY.COM) -A man who was arrested after waving a Confederate flag and shouting racial slurs at Camden residents during a country music concert was arrested again Saturday for another bias incident.

Camden, N.J. police say that Darren Walp, 33, of Ridley Park, Pa., was on his way to another concert at the time of the latest incident.

Police say that at approximately 3:30 p.m., Walp got out of his pickup truck at a stoplight near Broadway and Morgan to get a beer from the cooler located in the bed.

Police say that he began screaming racial slurs at the driver of a vehicle behind him, an African-American man who had a small child in his car.

Cops claim that Walp challenged the man to get out of his car. Instead, the victim drove away and flagged down a cop, providing a description of Walp and his red truck.

Officers were able to find Walp in one of the parking lots of the Susquehanna Bank Center concert arena. He was parked with other patrons of the Blake Shelton concert.

He was identified by the victim and then arrested on bias intimidation charges. He was sent to the county jail on full cash bail of $2,500.

‚ÄúWe never want to see this individual in the city of Camden again,‚ÄĚ said Camden County Police Chief J. Scott Thomson. ‚ÄúTherefore, I will ask the Susquehanna Bank Center to permanently ban this individual from their venue.‚ÄĚ

Police say that on June 22, Walp was attending the Toby Keith concert when he climbed the fence of the private Royal Court residential complex near the concert venue and began waving a confederate flag and shouting racial slurs at residents.

Walp was charged with harassment, disorderly conduct, bias intimidation and criminal trespassing after the first incident.
